Here I am on my way to dinner the first night of the
"Beauty and The Beach" event held at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware by JoAnn Roberts. This is the new location and name
for the famous "Paradise In The Poconos" event that was held from 1983 thru 2002. I had left my matching orange and
black pumps at home along with eight other pairs of shoes and just by chance, found these matching orange suede
pumps at the local Salvation Army Store in my size (10B) for just $6.99! I couldn't have been happier and decided
to wear this outfit, as it makes me look slim and a little bit sophisticated, don't you think? The restaurant
was on the lower level of the hotel, closed to the public and right on the boardwalk. Later, we would step out
and get some fresh air as the night air was balmy and perfect for taking pictures. It was great
to run into old friends from my 1998 Poconos trip and meet some new ladies as well. It was a great start to the
event and we stayed up late sharing stories, catching up on old times and the usual girl-talk.
